To provide world class capability building interventions that are in line with the Supply Chain Business Plan goals, thus increasing operational efficiencies and bottom line results.


  1. Ensure implementation and adherence to Training and development policies and procedures
  2. Maintain and keep correct and accurate records of training received both manually and computerised
  3. Appointed Skills Development Facilitator for the company
  4. Responsible for SDA reporting - skills levies claims, WSP
  5. Advise on and keep abreast of latest legislation to provide specialist knowledge in the area of Skills Development
  6. Administer manufacturing and supply chain training needs analysis across all levels
  7. Develop supply chain Functional Capability Plan
  8. Develop supply chain Professional Skills Dictionary
  9. Design and / or develop and provide customised capability building interventions to increase supply chain capability
  10. Identify and liaise with accredited external providers for supply chain courses
  11. Instruct or co instruct training programs as needed in assigned regions.
  12. To develop the entire training infrastructure in assigned region by enlisting support of facility management through credible relationship building, effective presentations and "marketing" of results.
  13. Evaluation of Return on Investment on capability interventions delivered, in - house as well as by external providers
  14. Develop the annual training calendar based on priority training requirements
  15. Develop, implement, and track measurement and feedback systems that evaluate training delivery
  16. Institute and participate on Company change facilitation initiatives
  17. Provide subject matter expertise to department heads
  18. Develop strategies and required training programs to support workforce needs & manage training utilization and vendor relationships
  19. Review and consolidate existing programs and designs and develop new programs to support the Talent strategy
  20. Collaborate with the bottling partners in sharing best practices on talent development strategies
  21. Collaborate with external Subject Matter Experts in the supply chain Excellence field and implement customised learning strategies to drive manufacturing effectiveness


  • 3 year Diploma Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and / or ETDP qualification
  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience within Supply Chain & manufcaturing environment having worked in operational / technical roles supported by experience in training consulting and development of learning materials
